Favorite scrapbook stores or websites

I love to scrapbook my trips when I get home from my travels. I'm always looking for new stores while traveling or websites where I can order new items that I can't find at my local store. Does anyone have any favorite stores or websites? Or any ideas for scrapbooking travel pages?

I like to use maps from the local area as backing for my scrapbook pages.

I prefer local scrapbook stores, but if you don't have any decent ones in the area, Michael's Crafts typically has a decent selection.

My wife attends a big scrapbooking show every year in San Diego. I think it's in June and her and her girlfriends go down for the weekend and seem to have a ton of fun.

I'm with you on the scrapbooks. Just sharing - I bought a really neat scrapbook on the Big Island on the 2nd to last day of vacation. It's covered with ink-decorated banana leaves.

Re: the maps, I stopped in the Majuro Post office in the Marshall Islands and bought local stamps to add to my documentation of the trip!

When I get home, I usually pick up scrapbooks & photo corners at art supply stores.

What a lucky find on the banana leaf scrapbook. These are the type of things I love to find for tracking individual trips.

Joanne Fabrics has a good selection.
