favorite place to stay in Vancouver?
 
can you tell me your favorite place to stay in Vancouver? Am traveling there in April for the first time. We prefer romantic vs large and impersonal. Thanks for any suggestions.

I'm assuming you mean Vancouver, B.C. The Wedgewood is a very wonderful small boutique hotel. Elegant rooms, wonderful service. I think they even have some special fireplace rooms which would be welcome in April. Everywhere the concierge sent us for dinner we were treated like royalty. They would say, &quot;oh, yes, soandso at The Wedgewood sent you. We have a special table for you.&quot; And they would!
