Favorite Place to Attend Catholic Mass

Hi,

I've attended Mass in St. Patrick's Cathedral. It is obviously very beautiful and historic. However, there were a lot of tourists meandering about the church during Mass which was a distraction. Does anyone have another favorite Catholic church in NYC you might recommend for Mass?

Thanks!

You might try and locate a Traditional Roman Rite Mass, the kind Vatican II tried to get rid of but failed.

You might want to venture downtown to Old St. Patricks Cathedral. They are at
263 Mulberry Street

The rectory number is (212) 226-8075.

I like St. Ignatious Loyola on the Upper East Side.

I like St. Malachy's at 8th and 49th in midtown. It's where my parents were married and it's just quaint and beautiful. It's also called the "Actors Chapel" since it's do close to the theatres.

Xavier on 16th Street is a beautiful, grand old Catholic church.
