Favorite Las Vegas Buffets

Going to Las Vegas Oct 10-12. Have heard much about buffets, both good and bad. Would love to hear about your favorites: types of food and approximate prices. Do any have nice atmospheres or is it basically cafeteria style?

The Freah Market Square Buffet at Harrahs is good ($20 per person for dinner).

if you like seafood, the Seafood Buffet at the Rio can't be beat. ($35 per person for dinner) and well worth it.

There's an ongoing discussion on the subject on chowhound.com . Might want to check it out...

The Aladdin buffet is good. Many dinner buffets are in the $20.00 PP range. At that price, the food should be fantastic. Even so, how much do most people eat? Maybe two plates of hot food and a couple desserts? The buffet prices have skyrocketed in the past five years.

Aladdin, $16 for Sunday Brunch and $20 for dinner, is worth the price, especially if you're a Sunday champagne-drinker.

Gold Coast and Orleans are probably the best of the budget buffets, still under $10.

LOL, "...for $20 buffet food should be FANTASTIC".
It can easily cost $20 to eat at TGI Friday's or Applebee's.
At a buffet you can literally eat pounds and pounds of food of dozens of types.
Why would you expect it to be super high quality for that price?

Most women don't eat "pounds and pounds" of food unless they want to feel sick the rest of the day! But they might feel compelled to do it just to get their money's worth. $40.00+ per couple is a lot for a buffet meal, IMO. Applebees wouldn't cost that much unless you ordered alcohol.

Another vote here for the Aladdin buffet. Good assortment of food stations.
