Favorite Hotel/Casino
I know the response will be far and wide, but I am very curious to find out any and everyones favorite hotel/casino. It can be in Las Vegas, Atlantic City or wherever. Be sure to give at least one reason why it is your favorite. Have fun!!:-)

Bellagio!!!!!! The attentiveness to service and overall class of the place can't be beat. Steve Wynn achieved his vision, but alas, forced by Wall Street to sell to MGM.

I haven't been to Las Vegas for four years, but I get to Atlantic City quite often. My vote goes to Bally's Park Place Hotel and Casino in AC. The Wild, Wild West section is great for atmosphere, it's small enough to be comfortable yet large enough to povide great service.

I haven't been there myself, but I just got an email from a friend who visited Las Vegas last week and he was totally impressed with Bellagio. And this guy is not easy to please.

This has to be one of the 3 most asked questions on this forum, but I'll play the lemming and jump in. It's Bellagio, no question. Atlantic City really turns me off. Damp, smelly, dirty, run down casinos (for the most part). A very poor stepchild compared to Las Vegas. The Monte Carlo casinos (Hotel de Paris, Loews) are way too stuffy and uncomfortable for me.
Bellagio is a near perfect combination of elegance (as elegant as LV can be, anyway) style, great location, great weather, pools, etc. etc.
BTW, insiders believe Steve Wynn's health (evolving blindness) had a part to play in his willingness to sell, though the MIR's declining stock value didn't help any.

Hi,

We stayed at the Bellagio and loved it. We're not into gambling (although we did feed a few quarters into the machine), so I can't comment on that aspect. The room we had was beautiful. Request one that faces the "dancing fountains." There's a water production that is synchronized to music. Also, the location is very good as are the restaurants we ate in.

Elsa

I figured I should post my own fav. By far my fav casino is Benions! Smoke, yes! But winning is good, people r friendly and single deck blk jack!!!
If its the combo of casino and hotel...Mandalay Bay. True, it aint the Bellagio, but it is a bit less expensive and Still nice for the price.

Maybe I'm old-school, but I like staying downtown. I like the Golden Nugget for accomodations, but I usually gamble next door at the Four Queens or down the street at Fitzgerald's. There seem to be an abundance of lower-minimum tables downtown, and at least one of the casinos (Las Vegas Club) has some pretty creative blackjack rules.
