Fastest transport from cruise to Seattle airport

We have a tight time line when we debark on Holland America cruise in August. Debark 7 am flights leaves at 10:45 am. Need fast transportation to the airport. Best recommendations? Are Taxis readily available at cruise terminal 91? Should we prearrange a taxi or town car.

Lots of taxis will be available, or you can book a towncar. Now would be a good time to sign up for Global Entry or TSA Precheck as the big problem will be security lines at SEA.

That's cutting it awfully close. Be sure you request an early disembarkation time, but you may not make this flight if there are any delays whatsoever with clearing the ship.

Even IF you get off the ship in the first group -- that is a pretty tight connection since you'll have to queue a little while for a taxi and will be traveling during the morning commute. Or you could be totally fine -- but if not, you lose your booking and might not be able to get on a later flight at the last minute.

Is there a later flight you can book now? I might consider it - even w/ change fees.

Here's a thread from Cruise Critic that might be helpful:

Personally, I think it would be unwise to try to catch a flight that early. Both Seattle traffic and then airport security can be quite backed up.

When I read Gardyloo's answer, I thought there was nothing to add.

It would be better if your flight departed at 11:45 or 12:45, but I believe it is reasonable to book a 10:45 flight if you can be among the first off the ship and your cruise arrives in Seattle on Saturday or Sunday morning--times when traffic is light between Pier 91 and SeaTac.

The taxi ride is 30-35 minutes when there are no big traffic delays.
