Gee guys, thanks - I will probably wear the black velvet pants (not tight ones), a tank velvet top and a long sleeve shear blouse. You know little bit of New York and a little bit of Florida.

Black of course is the color - not red.

KISS - I will KEEP IT SIMPLE & STUPID

Ginny...thrift or Goodwill store in DC, but *our* department stores. lol

Now Leone, B, B, and more B will be fine, but you must keep one rule in mind when coming to FL. You must wear your black dress socks with your bermudas and tennis shoes (Keds preferably) or sandals. Must. And walk on the beach that way (after of course, learning the "Sanibel stoop"). Now you are part of the in crowd. Do you have sansibelt pants? Those are good too. Also white patent shoes and belts, cranberry slacks.

Even Woody's won't let you in. ;>

And lets not forget the black walker, pastel windbreaker, "fish fear me,women crave me" tee, and early-bird special passbook. Yikes, I am ready to travel - now save some of those poppers at Woodys for me (the shrimp version, not the cheese whiz!). Hello, OO - glad you're signing in these days - the ole place could use some of your class, sailer person. Ciao, Joseph/Leone (hey, one toe at a time!)

To geo, I am fully aware of where Florida is, my response was directed to the previous poster, as you would have gathered if you had read the whole post - then again this thread is getting boring, so I don't blame you not reading it.

Hey, Carol, with that outfit, you could forget FL, and grab the plane to Paris with us - you'd be au courrant in your neat outfit. Have a good holiday and prosperous 2002. Ciao

Thanks for the invite Leone, but I am afraid that you would have me laughing sooooooo much that I would forget where I was or where I wanted to go and if I was wearing velvet or fleece. Please have the best Holiday ever. See you in 2002.

Now, MOM, really - I think that's overdoing things a bit - I specifically emphasized that a single posting would do the trick. I'd be embarrassed except for some of the other nonsense we've put up here. But while here, may I wish you all, yes, all, a great holiday and peaceful and prosperous 2002. I swear I'll do better in the NY! [Jeez, don't look back - I think I posted that same promise last December - oh, good golly, L - get some treatment. gt;>]

Orange,

I don't have a photo, but I picture Leone as Robert Redford in "All The President's Men" -- striding around DC in a trenchcoat.

Dang, Leone, your fingers must be getting tired typing all these messages about yourself. And how are you coming up with all the different names?
[Just kidding. There's only ONE Leone. And for that we should be grateful.]
