Farewell Friends
 

I just wanted to post a note to everyone. I haven't been very active in my participation on the board lately. My husband and I are taking a sabbatical and pursuing our dream of traveling through Asia for a few years. We will leave New Orleans just after Mardi Gras. I will still check out the US board from time to time but won't be around the Quarter for first-hand info. Sawatdee ka - <BR>Meg

Thanks for all the good wishes. Yes, Brian - the house is on the market (the very slow market), but we received an offer yesterday. John is still around. I still keep meaning to walk down the street to meet him before we leave town.

I, for one, will miss you on this board. The Asian adventure sounds spectacular, though!<BR><BR>Thanks for giving such great advice over the years. It's been appreciated by me and the literally dozens (if not hundreds) of New Orleans visitors who've counted on it to help plan their trips! Fodors needs more like you.
