Family Trip to Seattle - Must Sees?

Going to Seattle next week with my parents (in their 70s), my husband and my little one (aged 2). I know that Seattle has lots of great things accessible by walking...but my parents have difficulty walking long distances. Any suggestions of must sees?

- Should we drive up to Vancouver (or Victoria?) for the day?
- Should we check out Woodinville (wine country)?

What other suggestions are out there? We've been to Pike Place and Space Needle before.

Thanks!

What about an Argosy boat tour around the Sound and through the locks. Drive out to Snoqualmie Falls.

I wouldn't try to do Vancouver or Victoria as a day trip from Seattle - it's a bit too far, and you wouldn't have time to see much.

I'd take a ferry ride to Bainbridge Island from Seattle, though.

I agree that Victoria or Vancouver are too far away for a day trip imo. Though it IS possible to do Victoria in one day, going up and back on the Victoria Clipper.

In Seattle, I think a ferry ride, an Argosy boat tour, or one of the city tours (by bus or van) would be a good way to see some things without too much walking.

I too think that Victoria and Vancouver are too much for day trips. I really enjoy Woodinville. Lots of wineries, nice scenery, and Molbak's is a fantastic nursery right in downtown.
