Family Trip to San Diego
 

Hello,

My family (hubby, 6 yr old, and 10yr old) and I will be traveling to San Diego at the end of September for 4 nights. There seem to be quite a few nice places to stay. We are planning to visit the Zoo and Safari Park along with a few other of the main sites. I'm wondering if there a hotel that is in a good location to the zoo and the safari park? We also plan on visiting Mission Bay, Coronado, and Old Town. Any suggestions?

Dont forget La Jolla Shores beach, La Jolla Cove and downtown La Jolla.

Your budget?

The Safari Park is not in San Diego but in Escondido, which is about a 40 minute drive away inland. It can still be fairly warm in September in Escondido so plan accordingly.
Where to stay depends on your budget per night.
