Family reunion in Finger Lakes - need lodging suggestions please!

Jump to last reply

We are planning a family reunion in the Finger Lakes for next summer - looking into a block of 5-6 rooms or a rental which would accommodate 15-17 people for three nights. We like to have at least one suite and central area to relax, prefer a pool or proximity to a beach. Some of the places are too expensive (Inn on the Lake in Canandaigua which is also heavily booked), but the some of the budget hotels have no amenities. I've looked through tripadvisor and haven't come up with anything...We are okay with simple - but we do want a location which is convenient to activities (i.e. boat trips, wineries, dining, hiking etc.)

Does anyone know of a motel or bed and breakfast in that area which could accommodate a group/age span? We are looking at Canandaigua, Geneva, Hammondsport...open to any other suggestions. The Skaneateles Suites emailed that they didn't have anything which didn't make sense since some of their reviews were for family reunions. Thanks in advance!
