family resort in N.E. Florida
 

Looking for a family resort in N.E. Florida that has condos/timeshares for rent AND a childrens activity program. We have looked at Amelia Island,but most places are too expensive-we would like to be under $1000.00 per week( first week of June). Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks! Bob

Don't know that there is such a place in the Jacksonville/St.Augustine area.Maybe down the coast farther.

The children's activity part of your request has me stymied, but check out Sawgrass (Jacksonville, just north of Ponte Vedra). This is a very nice area, that has grown over the years. Also, as someone mentioned, check out St Augustine. St Augustine is a fun city. First week of June may be a problem, since everyone and their neighbor will be heading to Florida then.
