Falstaff hotels
We need a hotel for one night on the way to the Grand Canyon - we have definitely decided on Falstaff. Any suggestions please for a comfortable motel or hotel nowhere near railroad noise? Many thanks

I think you mean Flagstaff??
We stayed at the Fairfield Inn and it was very nice with a nice breakfast included and we did not hear the train nor any street noise. Ask for a room on the top floor {it has inside corridor, others have outside front doors} I would also do a search up above and type in Flagstaff hotels or click on Arizona on the drop down. Check tripadvisor.com too. And maybe repost this Q using Flagstaff in heading. Hope this helps... Debi |
We stayed at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Flagstaff and it was somewhat new, cheap and a great location. Free breakfast and free internet.

I stopped in Flagstaff for dinner last week and virtually every chain hotel was represented. Most looked new or relatively new and within a mile of one another. I'd google "Flagstaff" and once the map is up, choose find "hotels" nearby. You'll see reviews of hotels and contact numbers.
My favorite moderate chains are Hampton Inns, Holiday Inn Express and LaQuinta Inn and Suites. I'd start with those to see what the rates are for your dates. |
PS - you will also be able to see the location of the railroad
