Falmouth, Cape Cod
Will be going to Falmouth, Cape Cod in three weeks. Would appreciate any recommendations for a bed & breakfast in the area.

I'm not sure of a place to stay in Falmouth. We're going to the Cape ourselves for the first time next month. I do know I had a hard time finding a place. You need to find one quick and book it. Or even find one you kind of like and book and cancel it later if you find something better. Just check the cancel policy. Some places won't give refunds with less than 30 days notice. Good Luck!

We booked a place right across from the dock for the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. I got the name in the Automobile Association Guide.Sorry, don't have the MA guide right here. It was a couple of rooms and a kitchen. Very nice, very big.(Important with a teenager!) I think it was the only accomodation on the water. The picture was in the guide. Falmouth is not that large of a place so you should be able to find it through the Chamber of Commerce as well.It was not cheap though. It was in the $200.00 Range. It was well worth it.If you can't find it I will look for the guide.

This is not a B&B yet the SeaCrest resort in Falmouth is great as it is right on Old Silver Beach which is a nice location in Falmouth. They may have more rooms available on short notice than a small b&B. good luck!

Stayed at the "Palmer House Inn" in Falmouth last Nov. Very clean B&B, nice rooms and served an absolutely delicious gourmet breakfast. Also close to the ferry for Martha's Vineyard.

About five years ago, I stayed at a great B&B in Falmouth named "Mostly Hall." It is one of those huge old Victorians with large rooms and big staircase (the story is that one child back in the 1800's asked what he thought of the house and he remarked that it was "mostly hall"). We found the owners extremely personable and friendly. I would recommend it.
