Fall Foliage in September?

We have two weeks off beginning September 10th. Is there anywhere on the east coast where the leaves would be turning colors then?

Possibly as far north as you could get. Maine perhaps?

Sorry, but we were in Montreal at the end of September and there weren't really any colors to speak of yet.
You must go to Miami to see the lovely palm trees along the beach during that time of the year. You would not believe the different shades of green they can turn.

This map shows where you might have the best luck at seeing some color.

http://www.intellicast.com/FallFolia...eakFoliageMap/
