Taos Ski Valley is magical in the Fall from Sept 15th - Oct 15th.
The Aspen Groves line the streets and the mountains. Lodging is very affordable at that time of the year. A horseback ride would be wonderful to do at that time of the year aswell and the gold hill trail will take you to over 1200ft. See the Taos Ski Valley website www.taosskivalley.com Have a great trip |
This thread is several months old; I think the OP has already taken the trip.

Not to be the Fodors police, but I believe this poster is promoting that website [same name, new poster, only 2 posts, both include links to site]. Perhaps they missed the rule about not using this site to advertise when they signed up. Perhaps they are just trying to get folks to Taos, which I am all in favor of, but if it quacks like a duck...

I should have checked the website -- it is the Chamber of Commerce of Taos. Not sure how the rules apply. I think if poster indicated site was C of C, and they were reps, it would be ok. I will back away now.

While you are visiting the Enchanted Circle, be sure to swing through the Red River Valley. If you haven't experienced Red River; it is a must. If your looking for a place to stay while there, I highly recommend Red River Real Estate - their the nicest bunch. They have every type of lodging possible; like home away from home. All you need is your family and your suitcase. Seeing the mountains stretched on every side of this petite town is majestic. A 'must' to visit.

Wow, this thread is pretty magnetic - another first time poster and they are recommending a business! What a coincidence.
