Fall Color
 

I am headed to Long Island this weekend and was wondering if there was pretty Fall Color on the tree's ?? in the Hampton's area

We'll be north of Boston next week, around Salem and Marblehead ... Is it pretty there now? :)

Nice color out Route 2 (Concord, MA) area. I think the OP was asking about NY. Does anyone have an update for that area?

When a thread is entitled "Fall Color," I assumed we might be talking about Fall color, in general, where people could ask about different areas. I could start a different thread just for NE, if you'd prefer, Marie and Danny? :)

Colors are JUST starting to change in the Hamptons but most are still green. You'll see a few red and yellow trees and some burning bush.

I live in north central Vermont where it is already past peak but still quite beautiful on the gorgeous fall days we have been enjoying. Foliage in the Champlain Valley is a little later so should be really nice this weekend. the Vt link I gave will tell you places to go for the best color through the next few weeks

Elseiemoo, there's some spotty color in the North Shore area of MA, but we aren't near peak yet.

Thanks, MareW and Vttraveler ... we'll be up that way until Oct. 23 so maybe we will be around the North Shore just at the right time! :)
