Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica
 
We are planning a trip to Santa Monica in August and have booked a bungalow at the Miramar. Just wondered what others experiences have been.<BR><BR>Thank you,<BR>Gem

Haven't stayed there but have been to a party there and it was lovely. Terriffic location.

Grand old lady but not directly on the beach. A bit of classic southern CA. You'll enjoy it.

Have been to the bar and for dinner - lovely! Directly across the street from third street promenade - a walk street with lots of shops and restaurants. Nice choice!

Just returned from our trip. Found the bungalows to be renovated in a very 80's style (mauve and teal) and smokey. We upgraded to a palisades suite. It was nice, but we will stay somewhere else next time.
