K - ashamed? absolutely not. I do what is right for me and my family. If others don't agree with my purchases, that is their opinion. But they can keep it to themselves. I have my own opinions about how some people I know spend their money - expensive jewelry, $15 cosmopolitans, $7 packs of cigarettes, and $650 Tumi suitcases. But it isn't my problem. If you want to have any friends at all, you really need to learn to live and let live. If a $350 per night hotel room with linen sheets makes me happy and a $350 pair of Jimmy Choo's makes my friend happy, aren't we really all just the same underneath?

DOWN WITH THE bourgeoisie!!!! I always love the litle guy beating the pretentious rich guy..

I do sometimes have a problem with "Expensive" vacations but for my own personal reasons..

1. travaling is my life so I see money as destinations. $200 = a round trip form BDL to ORD.. so when someone posts they spent $5000 in bali, my minde registers $1000 too bali, $100 hotel for 7 days, $1000 too australia. etc...

2. I just cant see the purpose of paying so much for a bed,, you should travel too see a place not sleep in bed for days. unless your doing a long hall trip..

3. "the Ritz or Regen/? is also one of my favorite questions. like jeez. they are both super deluxe what the hell can be wrong with one or the other...ohh the pool is too small...the fauset is 14k gold not 18k gold.

2 I truly can't stand hearing people say OHH Mexico is so beatifull the resort was so nice the waiters so freandly. its such a great country, you must go.. if they did leave the resort it was too take a deluxe tour that stoped in markets where the folk obviously were fraindly, they wanted your dollar..

the funny and true thing is that their is a feud between backpackers/travalers and tourists/resort visitors..

One side say's "those lemings in that bus never get too see the real thailand, plus they jack up the pric for all of us"..

The other side says "look at those malnorshed idiots down there.. all they do is suffer..pluss never get too see most of the attractions becouse they are so frugal..

I tend too lean more in the midle but am the backpacker side .. and my uncle and aunt are more like tourist we, tend too go to the same destination but do it difrently and we both teas eachother for it.. but at the end. we both enjoy are own trips...

for me getting out of this freak'n house is all that matters,

anyways I work in an upscale supermarket Im a lowly produce clerk by choice, (i make what ever money and travel the world) and from what I see most rich people don't flont thier money, Most dress shabier then my co-workers..who are mainly from HARTFORDS's ghetto.

Greed is good. Greed is right. Greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit.

See ya on the other side baybee,

My Maserati does 185.
I lost my license now I don't drive.

I have a mansion, I forget the price.
Ain't never been there they tell me it's nice.

I live in hotels, tear out the walls.
I have accountants pay for it all.

Life's been good to me so far!
