Expedia or Orbitz-what if you have to check out of hotel early--refund??????
Have booked with both for hotel and never had a problem. On recent trip to NYC had to check out of hotel one day early due to minor illness (no doctor needed-just a chronic thing I have learned to cope with but wanted to be home in case I got worse) Hotel implied I would get a refund. from Expedia,however it hasbeen a month an no word from them.
Anyone ever had this experience???

I am surprised you would get a refund but I guess it depends on the rate you got. Usually the best rate on Expedia is non-refundable. I would look at your original confirmation and see what the cancellation policy was. It also could have been 24 hours and you would have already been within that time frame. How recent was it? Maybe it just wasn't posted yet.
