expedia.com question

Hi friends. Has anyone of you bought a airplane ticket through expedia.com? I am about to buy a round trip ticket on line but the px seems to be too good to be true...will my credit card be charged the same amount they're quoting or are their hidden read-between-the-lines rules this 68 yr old may have missed? Your answers, in whatever form, will be appreciated. Thanks!!

I've bought airline tickets here before. All of the fees, taxes, etc. show up on the last page before you give them the credit card info. Tis is a little higer than the base fare you get quoted on page one but not too much. They just have good deals sometimes, that is why people use them.

I have used expedia.ca, the Canadian version, and have had no problems. I agree with the posting above me - once you go to finalize, there is a little bit of difference, but not much. (You can still not go through with it, at that point.) My understanding is that they can offer lower rates because the companies that offer them to Expedia want to be at the top of the searches for tickets, autos, etc. We have gotten our car rental through them too, and that was a huge difference.

I have booked plane tix twice, hotel once. I haven't had any problems. I've found expedia has the lowest fares/rates in many cases. You should be able to see clearly what they will charge you before you "purchase".

Your assurance was very comforting guys!! Thanks!! I just bought the tickets...round trip to New Orleans from NY for $188.00 with just one connection each way. I am still reeling from the money I saved. I was about to buy from jetblue for $264 but my colleague at work suggested I try expedia. This is great!! Thanks again!
