Can someone tell me whether hotel reservations made on Expedia.com can be cancelled without penalty? I spent a few minutes looking at their website but could not find an answer.<BR><BR>What about car rentals?

Call 1-800-EXPEDIA and they can answer your questions, probably more reliable than asking here.

They can be cancelled.

I've cancelled before w/o penalty, but it depends on which hotel you book and what the restrictions are. Some of the bookings require up front payment w/o refund, others do not.<BR><BR>Read the fine print on whatever you go with. I've honestly never had a problem with Expedia and I've used them often.<BR><BR>
