Excursion Recommendations

We are going on a land/cruise tour starting August 1 on the Celebrity Summit. There are so many excursions I'm getting confused. My mother is 75, I'm 51 and my children are 18 and 11. My son can go on his own and loves very active activities.

What excursions do you recommens?

You need to look over a shore excursion list and narrow down your interests. There are WAY too many excellent excursions to recommend.

Most important- be certain on your Denali park day you have the Tundra Wilderness tour- highpoint of your trip. If you are in Talkeetna, flightseeing of McKinley is my top pick. Not likely to see it otherwise.

We have excursion possibilities in Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, and Denali. I heard we should schedule a helicopter ride to the glaciers. I think that excursion is very expensive, but if it is really worth it, I would be willing to include it. My son is into rock climbing, white water rafting, ect. and at his age, he can go on his own. I think my daughter would like to do something she could get involved in such as panning for gold or maybe a float trip.

I was wondering if there were excursions that you loved so much you would recommend.
