EWR Newark Airport Info needed
 

We're flying Continental to Zurich Sat evening. I would prefer to eat in the airport and avoid flight food, then sleep on plane assisted heavily by excellent drugs. We have a 4 hr layover- are there any decent restaurants there or even close by? No McDonalds or Taco Bell, but someplace with salads, etc. Thanks a lot- never flown out of there.

Your sit-down options at EWR's Terminal C are Gallagher's Steakhouse and Garden State Diner. I find Gallagher's okay, and with 4 hours you can sit there for a while watching planes. It's of course overpriced, but so are most food choices at an airport.

Terminal C is where you will be flying out of and as you can see lots of choices.
