It was Scarlett in the Library with one shoe after Lightening hit her house yesterday!!! :o

Yes, darlin. There we were, minding our own business, thunder and lightening all around.
Then we saw Light and at the same time a huge crack of Thunder and POP...we were hit!
One minute Pup was lying on the floor by the sofa, the next he was sitting next to me On the sofa.
He has not left my side since, I have a feeling that he is not there to guard me.
Just think, it is Hurricane season too, what fun!
I will be sure to keep an extra pair of shoes with me at all times ((F))

yikes Scarlett hope you are all okay..

poor pup.....My Aunt's dog would crawl under the bed and nothing would bring him out till the thunder stopped.

My daughter has two greyhounds and they whine and whimper every time it thunders. I was so proud of Pup, he is a City dog and thunder and noise never seemed to bother him....not anymore!
He is glued to my side even more than ever ((&))
Good thing I love him and the Yankee does too :) He was in bed with us this morning LOL

And yes,what is it about a single shoe on the side of or in some cases the middle of the freeway?? Have wondered about that for years. I mean what, someone is irritated, takes one shoe off and throws it out the window? LOL. One of the mysteries of life.

And speaking of mysteries. I had a glass of wine here somewhere, and can't find it!! Now that is really strange.

I have never lost a shoe- but I did lose an elderly parent once who was travelling alone-
anyone else lose a travelling relative.
He finally showed up at the airport the next day- he spent the night in the Minot ND airport - pocketed the money the airline gave him for a hotel and didnt bother to call that he had missed his flight- could have smacked him a good one for that stunt
