Evening harbor cruise- NYC
Last December we went on the Circle Line Harbor Lights tour. This year Circle Line is not offering evening cruises in the winter. Does anybody know of a similar excursion for the beginning of December? Not interested in a booze or dinner cruise, just want to see the night lights like we did last winter. THANKS

First, you can google and see if anyone is doing cruises,
If not - you could do a RT on the Staten Island ferry or one of the commuter ferries between Manhattan and Jersey. Google for times, prices and routes.

One of the favorite things we like to do with visitors is take the Staten Island Ferry at dusk and on the return trip watch the lights grow as you approach Manhattan.
Also the view at night from the promenade in Brooklyn Heights is spectacular.
You can save a lot of money and have an equally enjoyable view.

goldstar.com often has discounts for some of the nicer cruises. In addtion to Nywaterway.com nywatertaxi.com may have evening cruises and perhaps on weekends, sail-nyc.com, shearwatersailing.com and then there are the dinner cruises like bateauxnewyork.com
