Ethel M Chocolate Factory Tour?
Has anyone done this? How long does it take?
A few minutes. A bit more for the adjoining desert garden.
Overall, I wasn't very impressed. The most interesting part was their organic waste water treatment system:-) Keith |
I wouldn't even call it a tour really, you just walk through it real quick. What is nice is the Cactus garden at Christmastime at night. They have all the cacti with lights on them, it is real pretty and unique!
do they let you try their chocolate?
Is this a secret, or will somebody tell us ignorant ones where this place is -- at least a state so we can work it out from there?
LOL Neo, this is the chocolate to be known! Las Vegas area. Las Vegas, NV not NM.
Usually the tours to this factory are combined with the Hoover Dam. Or vice versa. They also had a store in Reno, closed now for long, long time, sigh... The factory also has a cactus garden opened to visitors. Haven't been there yet. |
Sorry about that. It is Las Vegas. I have a group of 13 people, so we are getting a guided tour. The lady I spoke with said it depended on how many questions you ask, but it would be a half an hour at the most.
Faina~of course they give you a free sample! That is the best part! :D
Vegasnative, I topped the Vegas GTG thread, in case you can make it.
