Estes Park - restaurant recommendation and more
 

Hello!
We will be in Estes Park in mid-September for 4 days to do a lot of hiking in RMNP. I am looking for some recommendations on the following:
1. Good restaurants in the area
2. Are there any unique things to do (other than hikes) that we should consider?
3. Are there any points of interest worthy of going to between Estes Park and Boulder?

1. We've not had great luck in Estes, but Poppy's and the Nepal restaurant are always packed and generally decent. Smokin' Dave's BBQ is OK too.
2. Tour the Stanley Hotel?
3. Not really for a short trip.
