Essex Inn in Chicago for one night...good or bad?
Hi folks. I have reservations at the Essex Inn next weekend because nearly all other Chicago hotels are sold out. We're only staying one night and the price was right. I'm certainly not expecting luxury accommodations, but am curious if anyone has actually STAYED there recently. Thanks.

Well, for one night, I guess you'll survive it. It's not the best! I hope you're not paying too much!

I went back and did research, and found that pretty much no one likes this hotel! So, I'm paying another $60 to stay at the Hyatt on Printers Row! Thanks for your reply.
