Epipens TSA and customs
 

Hi all,

I didn't think much about carrying my epipen unlabeled in my carry on until another poster questioned carrying meds.

TSA didn't say anything or notice it my last several flights but I am going thru customs in 9 days (!!!!!!!!!) and wonder how fussy they will be.

US customs doesn't care a bit about legal quantities of legal substances.

one thing i have learned is to take it out of your carryon and put it separately into the little bins. Otherwise, they see it in the x-ray machine inside your bag, don't know what it is, and then they search your bag.

Make sure the labels (both product and prescription) are legible. We almost missed our flight home from London when British security could not read our son's epipen label and we were delayed a long time at the entry point.
