Epcot - Restaurant for kids!
Hi - looking for a good restaurant suggestion in Epcot for kids! One that both my kids will enjoy (ages 3 1/2 and 4 1/2) as well as us parents! Last time we were there (about a year and a half ago) we ate at the Coral Reef restaurant at the Living Seas and we all loved it (the kids loved watching the sharks swim by!). Just looking for something else fun to try! Thanks!

go to www.disboards.com, you will get plenty of suggestions there...Those folks are Disney pro's!! One thing I learned from the disboards is that while visiting Epcot you can get passports for your kids and each "country" they visit in Epcot, they get their passport stamped!

Thanks so much for the "passport" suggestion in Epcot...we didn't do that last time and my girls will love it! Do you know where we get them?
|
Sure no problem, I missed out on it too, didn't learn about it until after we came back. Again, go to the disboards and they will tell you where to purchase them. I know you can order them ahead of time online, and I believe you can by them at the gate or just inside the gates. Also, you can by masks for the kids, and at each country there is a booth where they stamp the passports and they paint something "native" on the masks. The kids just have to learn how to say "hi" and "goodbye" in that language. Supposedly it is really fun for kids.

I did a lot of research on the disboards for dd's grad night. She said after the first few hours, kids from other schools even started coming to her for help because she was "in the know." Definitely check out the disboards! :)

We also bought a disposible camera for each of the kids. They loved taking pictures in each "country".

Are you interested in character dining? They have one restaurant that has characters at Epcot. OK food, I think it was a one price dinner w/family style food (big bowls, sefve yourself) if I recall correctly.
Definitely take them on the boat ride that goes on the edge of the indoor Mexican restaurant, but other than the boat ride, I don't think there is anything special at that rest. for kids to hold their attn. |
Hi alvarki!
Im not sure if youve already come across it but here is a thread from last month that might give you some good ideas! http://tinyurl.com/go9r3 Have a pleasant evening! :) |
There are princess meals at the Norway pavilion in Epcot. Breakfast, lunch & Dinner.
Character dining is available for lunch & Dinner at the Garden Grill. A lot of kids like the "oom-pah-pah" atmosphere of the Biergarten in the Germany pavilion but the food gets only so-so reviews. The San Angel Inn in the Mexico pavilion is absolutely charming. www.allearsnet.com and www.wdwinfo.com both have great dining sections. |
Another vote for the Mexican pavillion which is a step up from most of them.
