Entrance to Lincoln Center

Is there an entrance to Lincoln Center from 10th Ave? We have tickets for the Met Opera & will be walking from about 58th on 10th. I was hoping that we wouldn't have to walk around to the front entrance, an extra block or so in this weekend weather.
Would it be better to walk this or walk over to the subway on Broadway & take the 1,2,3, for one stop to 66?
Just trying to figure out how to stay out of the rain as best we can.

I do not believe that the Opera house any entrances from 10th Avenue and I have never seen people enter, other than through the main ticket entrance off Lincoln Center Plaza. You possibly could walk into the parking garage entrance on 63rd, an go through the underground entrance into the main lobby.

I saw Figaro last Saturday. Another excellant job by the Met. Curious what you are seeing.

Just remembered, the garage does have an entrance on 10th, a bit up from 63rd St.

At this point we may just have to cancel. Yes, we're taking the train, but it's getting to the train today & then digging out on Sunday that is the worry. We're seniors.
