Entertainment in Vegas
 

We are going to Vegas the second week in August. Can anyone tell me about any shows we just can't miss, or who will be entertaining between August 9-13. Thanks! Also, if there are any other ideas for things to do besides gambling and shopping, we'd appreciate any information.

I'm from Canada & have been to Vegas a number of times. I always like to go to the Valley of Fire & to Lake Mead when I need a break from the casinos. There are a number of bus tours that pick u up at your hotel or if you have a car you can drive to all these. A day trip down to Laughlin is always nice, it's a gambling town south of Vegas. Just visiting the casios are great too with all the great theme's in each one. There's always something to see.

If Danny Gans is still at the Rio, I'd recommend seeing him. He was terrific!

Mystere at Treasure Island and "O" at the Bellagio are both great Cirque du Soleil shows totally unlike any other shows you'll see in Vegas. Everyone loves them! <BR>
