Entertainment in Seattle?

I am working on our itinerary for September and I need something to do after the Savor Seattle food tour on a Thursday night.

Do you think we'll be hungry enough after that tour for dinner? I was thinking the Pink Door, but wasn't sure if we would want to eat more. Since we will be with my parents we are not looking for a club or dance scene. I was looking at shows, but couldn't find anything that look like it would interest us. I know I have got to be missing something. Any recommendations?

You might look at the Triple Door, a very nice venue a block or two from the Pike market. They're downstairs from Wild Ginger, and one can have anything from snacks to a full meal (not bad) while at the show. Here's the September calendar: http://www.thetripledoor.net/calenda...ate=2011-09-01

Jazz Alley is Seattle's most famous music venue; it's a few blocks north of the downtown core. They also have decent food at the shows, if you're hungry after the tour. Here's their calendar: http://www.jazzalley.com/calendar.asp

Also, this is a good source for what's happening in Seattle: http://www.visitseattle.org/Visitors/Events.aspx

If you're interested in theater, check the web sites for STG Presents, 5thave.org, Seattle Rep, and A.C.T. (A Contemporary Theater).

For classical music, check: Seattle Symphony, Seattle Opera, and meany.org.

We really enjoyed Teatro ZinZanni:

Thanks that helps.

I also found Unexpected Productions. It looks like what were are looking for and the shows start at 8:30, which will fit the time period we need. I really didn't want any type of music revenue since we all have totally different tastes in music.

I saw the Teatro ZinZanni, but it's a little too much and too expensive for what we are looking for. Maybe on a return trip.

I am a memeber of Goldstar from our Las Vegas days and definitely buying tickets for our choices from them.

Thanks KVR. Very cool. I knew about and have been in the Market Theater when it was a moviehouse, I just didn't recognize the company name or know what's going on there lately. Good to know, thanks.
