Entertainment books?

I recently read a book about "Entertainment" books, with coupons and discounts. Does anyone know more about these- are they available for all cities, are they a good deal, etc? Thank-you!

alicat

They are available for many cities across the US. Here is their website:
http://www.entertainment.com/index.cfm?nav=top.

I feel that I always get my money's worth from the grocery, dry cleaning and restaurant coupons. Many of the nicer restaurants also have buy one entree get one free with the Entertainment card that comes with the book, so it's a good way to try new places.

Many people buy them through charitable groups that sell them as fundraisers. You might want to check with your local scout troop, school, or religious institution to see if they sell them. You pay the same price and I believe the group makes at least 20% on the sale.

they are great I use them when I travel for a week or more in different cities in europe. You can buy them in advance or get them in book stsores in the cities.

I just bought two. Onne for the city I reside in and also the city I'll be visiting for a week in three weeks. I paid twenty dollars for the one I'm going to use while away but it had two nice restaurants in it that are in the hotel I'm staying at. I figure when I leave, I'll leave it in my room with a tip hanging out of the book for housekeeping. I'm sure they'll use what I didn't!!

I get one for my local area every year and get more than my money's worth out of it. The hotel offerings are the same in all the books, so it's not necessary to get the book for the area you are visiting, unless, like the above poster, you're going to use it for restaurants or attractions in that area.
I always buy mine through our school district. They use the profits for a scholarship fund.

My daughter's school is selling them. You can buy the out of town ones and your local one also.
