ENT Polynesian Cultural Center coupons needed…

Howdy -

Trying to track down some ENT coupons for the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu. There are seven of us going and I don’t want to have to buy three books just for this...

Can anyone out there part with their coupon? I would be happy to cover the cost of sending it out to me.

Thanks to all ...

Hi!
I just purchased the Entertainment book and I won't be using my coupon. Please e-mail me at [email protected] and I will be happy to mail it out to you.

Thanks Kim -

I sent you an e-mail last night with my address info.

Still looking for one more at this point...

Thanks to all.

Gave my book to a friend that is going to Maui in June. She has no use for that coupon as she does not plan to take any day trip to Oahu.

The cost of a stamp should be no big deal and I'm sure she will forward it to you on my behalf.

You can contact me with your information at sk84fungirl at yahoo dot com.

I just received mine, but I plan on using the PCC coupon.

However, the price of the Hawaii book is now only $9.99 plus $5 for shipping. Maybe at that price, it would be worthwhile buying an additional book as there are seven of you and many of the coupons are two for one. Surely for $15, you can find some other coupons that you can use.

Stash, you might get more takers if you offered to exchange coupons that you are unlikely to use.

Why would you spend so much money for a Hawaiian vacation and worry about paying $15 for an Entertainment book or two?

Replies to a couple good posts...

dusty56438 - I found the books online this week at $10 plus shipping and ordered one for myself. Thanks for the tip.

sk84fungirl - I sent you an e-mail just now - thanks. With your contribution I now have all of the coupons I need!

Rusty - great point, when I get back I will certainly open my HI ENT book to anyone who needs a coupon.

Hawaii05 and sk84fungirl - I am not sure when my book will show up [hopefully before july 1 when we leave] - if your friend is looking for a specific coupon let me know and hopefully I can now return the favor.

leelane911 - this is how I am able to take seven to HI for two weeks - by watching every penny ;>

Thanks to all and I do promise to post trip report and make any unused coupons in my book available when we return.

Stash, I apologize for that comment. It came out differently than I intended it to. I did not think through why you wanted the coupons. I am sorry.

leelane911 that is ok ;)

You made a good point!

Going is expensive and I don't want to get too tied up in trying to save every penny. I have certainly done that in the past and for those couple extra bucks could have made my wife and kids even happier... That is my goal when we travel.

Couple side notes on the trip along $$$ spent lines...

I cashed in over 200,000 miles and ended up with six out of seven tickets for free. Most of those miles came from retail purchases; hotels, restaurants, special promotions, iDine - mainly work related.

This represented over $5,000 in free airfare....

Got the condo on the internet from a current owner that could not use the week, and priceline'd the rest of the hotel stays. Figure I saved $3 - $4000 there.

If you plan right [couple years worth in my case] and watch for deals, you can do this for about the same cost as a trip to Disney. Instead of the mouse you get paradise!

Trip report to follow...

Thanks again to all.

Stash - Every year, the Entertainment Books (for all locations) start reducing their price around March 1. Thay always expire the first part of November.

Then around May 1 the price is reduced again. I usually wait until then to buy my book.

They only take about 1 week for delivery.

I wonder why they reduce the price of the entertainment book every year?
