Enchantment or Sky Ranch Lodge?
 

I can get a room at Enchantment in early September for $175 per night; a room with a view at Sky Ranch is $149. Does anyone have an opinion which one would be more enjoyable for three nights just starting Labor Day? We plan to hike, maybe some mountain biking, and just generally enjoy the Sedona experience. I'm not sure that the spa experience is all that important to us on this trip. So, any thoughts?

I stayed at Enchantment and it was terrific and right on an excellent hiking trail. Don't know anything about Sky Ranch, but Enchantment is really special.

The Sky Ranch is very nice but I don't think it's the same caliber as Enchantment. I'm suprised the prices are so close, I would think Sky Ranch would be less (we paid around $90 for a room for 4 in March) and Enchantment would be more. For those prices, I'd definitely go with Enchantment.

I would have to agree. I am not familiar with Sky Ranch, but the Enchantment is magnificent. It lies in Boynton Canyon with hiking trails and Indian ruins along the way. the scenery there is spectacular. It is about a 10-15 minute drive from town.

Bob, If you are still lurking about WHERE did you get that rate for Enchantment? It's a deal, and I'd love to stay there for that price!<BR><BR>Also, where did you stay? How was it? Thanks

Yes, how did you get that rate? Was it Mon-Thurs? The weekends are $600/night!
