Emoticons

Since the typed word doesn't always show when someone is happy, sad, silly, etc. is there a list of emoticons available on Fodor's? I've tried cheating and looked at posts that others have made, so I've learned a few. Certainly there is something out there that will feed my need and ((L))
for a variety of smileys, right?

:)

Someone taught us how to bold and use italics, even underline once, though I do not recall.
And the colors too, I never mastered that either.

When you have a new ((&amp;)) you may need:
~some %%-
~perhaps a ((D))
~or even a ((B))

But they will fill you with ((L)) and it's alot better than owning a :[ or a :(|)

razzledazzle Oct 15th, 2005 06:34 PM

Dear Tiff
Type a &lt; then type B,then put another &gt;
same for Italics, but use I, or type name of color in between &lt; &gt;
After you finish saying what you want
in Bold, Italic or Color
you must close it or the rest of your sentence will be Bold, Italic or color.
So type &lt;/and B,I or name of color
and another &gt;
<b>Bold</b>
<i>Italic</i>
<font color="red">RED</font>

You try it !

I have my fordors smileys on my favorites. My bookmarks. If I can't remember a &quot;code&quot; I just click on favorites, scroll down to the thread, see the &quot;code&quot;, click &quot;back&quot; which takes me back to the post I am typing.

To me that seems easier then printing it out and having to keep a paper by the computer etc. Have fun everyone!
