emiril"s new restaurant
 

Has anyone heard of Emeril Lagase new restaurant in Hawaii? I'm not sure of the name but I think it's Chop Chop? any info will be much appreciated.

Sorry, but it's not in Hawaii.

Emeril's newest restaurant is called Tchoup Chop and located at Universal Orlando's Royal Pacific Resort.

As Lois said, the restaurant if at the Royal Pacific Resort at Universal, Orlando. For some reviews and the menu, go to www.disboards.com and go the the Universal forums. There are some threads on this restaurant.

It is a miserable restaurant. I am sure it is undergoing dramatic changes. Even the restaurant critic at the Orlando Sentinel (a paper that bows at the feet of all things Disney and Universal) gave it the worst review I've ever seen in that paper.

I just posted a thread about this restaurant, inquiring how it was. I'm glad I checked here. Wondering now if I should change my dinner reservation to the other Emeril's in CityWalk? Hmmmm.......is Emeril slipping a bit?

Just back from Orlando and ate at Emeril's Tchoup Chop restaurant in Universal and I would definitely NOT recommend it. It was definitely not up to EMERIL's high standards. Very disappointed!!! Save your money and eat at the California Grill at the Contemporary Hotel in DISNEYWORLD......

Wow... that was one of the worst reviews I have ever read.
