Electricity in Canada -- ASAP!

Leaving tomorrow for Victoria, BC. Must we take
a converter kit to use hairdryer in Victoria?
Thanks!

I did a little researching.. I don't think so..
it is the same electric system as in U.S.
Check out fodor's mini-guide. In Tokyo, there is a section under essentials regarding electricity. But, for vacouver, canada there is not.

Typical USA'er ....yes, ( teasingly another country is as progressive ( albeit smaller...) Yes December - January are not the greatest but if it has to be Victoria is a good choice..no snow but rain...STAY AT JOAN BROWN BED AND BREAKFAST sorry don't have number but it will be your finest decision......centrally located and she is fantastic and everyone will love her ask to stay in main bedroom on ground floor...Nothing else in Victoria compares rate will be under $ 100

Let me know

Victoria isn't Timbuktu you know........it uses the same plugs and so-forth as the US. It will probably be warmer than the US, but whatever you do, bring a raincoat everywhere. Next time, go in the summer.
