El Cordova Hotel - Coronado Island, California question
From the website and some reviews I read this looks like a unique and affordable hotel in the San Diego area. Would appreciate anyone's thoughts and experience with this property.

I can vouch for The Village Inn in Coronado. It is on Orange Ave. as I recall. Very reasonable and what I considered to be a nice atmosphere. Quiet. Not alot of people everywhere ... kind of like a large house. It was six years ago when I stayed there for 3 nights but I see from the internet that it is still there. Check it out it might work for you.

I've never stayed at The El Cordova Hotel but it has had some pretty good reviews for at least the last few years. I did however go into the hotel lobby about a year ago and thought it was "my kind of hotel" and that at some point I'd like to stay there. I do know it gets booked up very quickly.

Looks like they're all booked up for the whole month of July! The only bad review I have read so far is that one room was right over the noisy kitchen of a restaurant. Maybe we'll check it out when we go and report later.
