Eggs'n'Things...

It's one of my favourite places in the world and I'm having a terrible craving for their sour cream and banana crepes. Unfortunately, there's no way that I'll be back in Honolulu soon. (I wish I could!)
I want to replicate that filling at home - at the time I had them, it seemed like a mixture of sour cream and whipped cream - does anyone know? please help!!!

You might try writing a direct email to the food editors at the 2 daily papers. [email protected] and [email protected]

They may call and ask Eggs N Things for the recipe and/or publish a reasonable facsimile.

In a similar vein, you could try writing to the magazine Bon Appetic . they have a column called RSVP I think which readers write in requesting recipes from favorite restaurants which Bon Appetic then manages to obtain and publish. whatever you're describing sounds delicious

Try doing a recipe search on epicurious. Here is their website.

http://eat.epicurious.com

I went to see a U2 concert in Montreal last year and nearly had a coronary because each morning, my friends and I gorged ourselves at a place called "Eggs-pecations". If you're in the area, I'm sure it would make you forget Honolulu for at least that day.

Thank you, everybody. I thought of writing Bon Apetit, too. But I guess it's going to take a lot of time to get a result, if... Well, better late than never.
The local papers would be a great ideea if I lived in Honolulu, right? I wish!
As for Montreal, I've been there a few times and I know Eggs'spectations, but I was busy eating at so many wonderful places - I never knew they were similar to Eggs'n'things.
well, thanks anyway for taking the time to reply.
