eating on road to Kapalua?
 

Does anyone have any suggestions of a good place(not to fancy) between airport and Kapalua. We arrive at airport at7:00pm and will get to Kapalua Bay hotel fairly late. Thanks

Try Bamboo Bistro in Maalaea.

It's only about 40 minutes from the airport to Kapalua. Why stop? If you can't hold out that long there are many, many places to eat along the route although most are not right on the main highway.

I thought it might be fun to try something out of the hotel area we are but unless it is really worth it we probably won't stop.

If you want to eat right after arriving at the airport, go to Momma's Fish House in Paia. If you don't mind going a little out of the way Hailemaile General store is also very good. There are probably a couple restaurants in Kahalui (where airport is) but don't know of any. <BR><BR>Both the restaurants I mentioned are a little out of the way, but you can always eat somewhere in Lahaina on your way to Kapalua.<BR><BR>Good luck and enjoy Kapalua Bay. try sansie right in kapalua or roy's in napali right before kapalua, or their sister restaruant next door....that way you are very close........or if you are not too jetlagged go to Hula Grille as we do every trip and get the tourist thing under the belt....great lite fare at their barefoot bar --at Whaler's Cove. GL

Momma's Fish House and Hailemaile General store are special experiences (and also expensive). I would not want to eat in these restaurants immediately after coming off a long flight.<BR>
