LA has terrific Chinese, Vietnamese and Mexican restaurants which are not expensive. Would also recommend visiting the Farmers' Market for inexpensive food.

Cajun food, is of course, the specialty, along with French cuisine.<BR>Try any of Paul Prudhomme's places.<BR>Watch out for alligators.<BR>

You got 2 very different replies which leads to the inevitable question: Are you referring to Los Angeles or Louisiana? I assumed it was LAX until I saw the second post.
