Hi Everyone -

My husband and I are heading to Kennebunkport for four days and this post has been great. Has anyone been to or have information on The Kennebunkport Brewing Company? All web searches lead to Federal Jack's - is this the only place to go?

On a side note has anyone been to the Shipyard Brewing Company or Sea Dog Brewing Company in Portland?

Kennebunkport Brew and Federal Jack's are basically one in the same. The info is on the Fed Jack's website. The brewing is done underneath the pub. Fed Jack's is the home of Shipyard Ale so no need to head into Portland. Pier 77's Ramp is also a great place to enjoy Shipyard or Sea Dog brew, with a great view as a bonus.

beph03, Kennebunkport Brewing is right underneath and part of Federal Jack's. Its just a small room, not really a tour. There's a big gift shop though ;)

Went to Shipyard's tour a couple of years ago. It was OK. I was planning on going back , but somehow the timing hasn't worked out

While you're in New England, when on the rare occasion that I have a beer, I really enjoy Harpoon IPA -Boston and Cisco Whales Tale Pale Ale from Nantucket. Just in case you see them on your journey.
