Eating in ABQ
We will have 1 night to have a delicious meal in ABQ. Would love New Mexico or Southwestern food. Price ~$100 for 2 if that's doable. Suggestions? Thank you!

You should be fine with that budget.
We don't go out for New Mexican food that often, but if you're here on a weekend, Mary and Tito's on 4th St. has great food and they're open until 8:00. Monroe's is pretty good, though it's been a while since we've eaten there. Sadie's, on 4th St., and El Pinto, way north on 4th St., are popular with a lot of people. Hopefully someone else will chime in with more suggestions. Lee Ann |
An odd thing - the best New Mexican restaurants tend not to be the fanciest or priciest. They also do as good a lunch as dinner.
These are in order of my preference: Zacatecas El Pinto Cocina Azul Sadies Mary and Tito's [only open til 6 pm] Casa de Benavidez Zacatecas Here are some favorites, not necessarily SW or NM: Artichoke Cafe Farina's [same owners as above] Seasons Scalos Farm and Table Elaine's Los Poblanos Historic Inn & Organic Farm Jennifer James 101 |
Mary & Tito's til 8pm on Friday and Saturday, closed Sunday.

Thanks! I think that gives us lots of choices. Will check them out. Not sure what day we will be there.
