Eating at the YMCA?

My husband and I are going to NYC (first time) for our anniversary trip. Last night he was talking about what a great trip we're going to have, and he said he couldn't wait to eat at the Y. I didn't think of it until later, then I thought "???" Is there a well-known restaurant at a YMCA in NYC? I have heard very good things about one of the Y's in the city, but I don't recall anything about food.

If any of you New Yorkers can help, that would be great! I'd love to eat at the Y if it's that good!

Jeannette, if your husband is referring to the one downtown, I highly recommend some dining at the Y. Just make sure you adhere to the dress code, skirts and NO panty hose, or access might be denied.

You boys are so busted. I can't believe it! Your father has never been downtown nor has he eaten at the Y. I, on the other hand, always wear skirts and gave up pantyhose decades ago.
