Easter Weekend in NYC - Anything special I should do?

I will be taking my 15-yr old DD to NYC for the first time over the Easter weekend (Mar 20-25). Is there anything special to look up during that period? So far I know about an Easter parade and the Macy's Flower Festival.

Are there particular museum closings bue to the holiday that I need to be aware of?

No - Easter is not a major holiday here - so don;t expect closings of anything.

I think you know about the 2 big things I can think of -- the parade and the flower show. Of course, most of the churches in town will have special services. You should also know that many nicer restaurants will be booked for brunch, lunch, dinner on Sunday, so book in advance.

Thanks! I might look for a brunch somewhere but this is a 'low budget' trip that I have sneaked into what was supposed to be a no-vacation year so I dont think that we will be going to any reservations-required restaurant.

Thanks for the link to the Frick, I have never been there and it is in my must-do list for this trip.

I went to the Frick fo the first time a few weekends ago and loved it. It has made my top 5 list for museums in the world.
