I'll be in Vegas (Flamingo) on Easter and was wondering if anyone knows of any specials for Sunday brunch? Should I go to a buffet or a restaurant? Open to all recommendations.

If you want something a bit nicer than the usual buffet, try Commander's Palace in the Aladdin. It's just off one of the Desert Passage entrances. While not quite the same as the NOLA original, it's still pretty good, especially for brunch.

In my book, not overly pricey. But, I live in NYC and as a result, I don't usually get sticker shock from restaurants. I don't recall the exact price, but I would think it was about $25 each.

The might have a website, otherwise I'm sure you can get info from their toll-free reservations number.

Almost all of the "Locals" Hotels do a special "Brunch" in all of their restaurants for Easter so you aren't even stuck with having to do a Buffet you can go to any of their restaurants and enjoy "typical" Easter meal. The nicer restaurants that are usually open for dinner only open around 2pm and serve til late and the cafes are serving mostly all day. ON the Strip itself I am not certain but they probably will do the same...

We'll be there at the same time and are planning on the Bellagio buffet.

Aladdin brunch if you like champagne, screwdrivers & bloody marys. And GREAT food! About $20pp.

I'll be at Harrah's for Easter, so I plan on their Champagne Brunch. I expect it will be good, and maybe even upgraded for the holiday.

I am wondering if the holiday will have anything closed. I felt pretty secure about the Strip being open, but will any retail nearby be affected?

HoJo- Nothing should be closed specifically for the holiday. Most places even stay open on Christmas, so you're pretty safe with Easter. Was there anything in particular you were concerned about being closed?
