East Coast Golf Trip
I'm looking to take a short golf trip with some friends this summer, preferably on the east coast. We don't mind going some place hot (we were in Orlando last July), because of the good deals available. We would like to stay at a nice resort with at least 36 nice holes on premises. I'd also like to be in a place that has some other courses in close proximity to the resort. One thought I've had is Hilton Head, but I'd like any suggestions. Thanks.

I think Myrtle Beach, the Marriott Doral in Miami, Orlando, or Hilton Head would all do nicely.

PGA National in West Palm wld be nice.
Are you driving or flying & from where?( I have other ideas if you are flying) |
www.LegendsGolf.com in Myrtle Beach.

Legends is an excellent option if you choose Myrtle Beach. It is one of the best run golf resorts in MB, with 3 very nice courses on site. Think also about Williamsburg Va (Kingsmill or Golden Horseshoe resorts), Pinehurst NC (lots of courses in the area in addition to the famous resort), or Kiawah Island, SC (Kiawah Resort).

Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg has 3 18-hole courses plus a par 3. The LPGA holds one of its most popular tournament on the River Course. Nearby are the Golden Horseshoe Gold (one of the top 100 public courses in the US) and Green courses and several others including a links course.

Absolutely, HILTON HEAD! Loads of golf, pretty, good food, nice people, reasonable prices, other entertainment and recreation....Family, fun!
